Tell me about your company

Rent in Albania is part of the Albanian Investments Property Group and we have more than 5 years experience providing group and individual tours in Albania. Our project "Rent in Albania" specializes in apartment rental services in major cities across Albania, such as Tirana, Durres, Vlora, Saranda, Dhermi, Himara and others.

What class of apartment can I rent on your site?

We offer various sizes, locations and classes of apartments. Our extensive database consists of 1 to 5 bedroom apartments and studios that range from standard to luxury class. This helps our clients to find a comfortable and suitable accommodation based on their personal requirements.

Do you own your apartments?

We have partnered with our sister company Albania Investments Property Group to guarantee our customers comfortable accommodation and offer a wide selection of apartments.

Payment

How can I pay for an apartment? Do I need to pay in cash?

We accept cash but No need to pay in cash! While many other companies only accept cash for renting an apartment we also accept online payments by credit card.

What will happen if I cancel my order?

When you order apartment through our company you agree with our Cancellation Policy.

  • Cancellation of the order made between 14 calendar days and 8 working days prior to the date of check-in result in a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations of orders made 7 or less working days before date of check-in result in a penalty of one night’s stay fee.
  • In case of non-appearance at the apartment at the dates of the approved order, all charges paid for the requested services are not refundable.

Deposits for airport transfers and interpreting services are fully refunded if cancelled any time before the check-in date. If these services are cancelled after the check-in date, a refund will not be issued.

Visa support fees will not be refunded if the apartment reservation is cancelled at any time for any reason whatsoever.

In case of any damage caused by the customer or his guests to the apartment’s interior during the time of the customer’s stay at the apartment, the compensation for such damage is covered by the customer.

Additional Services

Do you have additional services?

We can offer you transportation service (airport - apartment; apartment - airport) and interpreter services. We can also prepare a letter of invitation that is usually needed to apply for an Albanian visa should you need it.

Can you find me a professional interpreter?

Yes, we have interpreters / personal assistants who can provide translation services, be your city guide and even help you plan your daily schedule.

I am planning to visit a city which is not on your list.

Please feel free to contact our customer service and we will help you to find accommodation in the city you are planning to visit.

I want a personal driver or bodyguard. Can you provide such services?

If you need a personal driver, bodyguard or cook please contact our customer service. We will check availability of these services with our local partners.

I will be in Albania on business and I need to be in touch with my partners. Internet connection — is it available in your apartments?

Yes, Internet is usually available in our apartments. Simply inform our customer service you would like to rent an apartment with Internet connection and they will find proper accommodation. If the apartments do not have Internet Service we will offer you our offices so you can get online for free.

What services are included in the rental charge?

Professional cleaning before your arrival and after your departure. Apartment cleaning every 3-4 days if you stay longer than 4 days. Clean bed linens, bath towels, kitchen towels, toilet paper and bathroom floor mats.

What are the arrangements about heating, water-supply and air-conditioning?

The charges for all facilities are included in the rental price.

Arriving & Departing

My train arrives early in the morning. What time can I arrive to the apartment?

Our standard practice is to check in the apartment after 14:00 (2pm) and checkout by 12:00 local time. Should you like to check in the apartment earlier or check out later you will be required to pay 50% of the price of one night stay. Please inform our customer service in advance if you plan to arrive before or leave after the standard hours. We will check availability of the apartment for the time required and make all the necessary arrangements.

How do I find the apartment?

The easiest and quickest way is to use our Transportation Service, which will take you directly to the reserved apartment reserved from your arrival point. You will be provided with the exact address of the apartment so you can take a taxi as well. If you experience any difficulties finding the place of your accommodation, feel free to contact our customer service by phone and we will help you locate your apartment.

What if my flight / train is delayed?

Our check-in managers work 24/7. If your arrival is delayed, for any reason, please contact our customer service. Our local representatives will reschedule transportation (if ordered) or make sure there is someone to meet you at the apartment at a later time.

Complaints

Suppose I am generally dissatisfied?

We want you to enjoy your stay in our apartments and book with us again. Therefore, your convenience and satisfaction are placed on top of all other objectives. We would like to know as quickly as possible, if you are dissatisfied for any reason.

Suppose I don't like the apartment or it is unsuitable?

Descriptions for all lodgings are given on the website and it is your obligation to ensure that the chosen apartment is suitable for you. If there is an inconsistency between descriptions and apartment in reality, we will do our best to improve the situation. We will be pleased to relocate you to another apartment available provided that you pay the difference in price (if any). However, we want to ensure that you enjoy your stay and accept the fact that it is not always possible to get a complete image of an apartment from its description.

How to complete your order:

To avoid unauthorized use of your credit card we introduced order confirmation procedure, because we take fraud security very seriously. To complete your order you will be suggested to print and sign Order Confirmation Form, copy your personal ID (passport or driving license) and send them to:

Please send your Order Confirmation Form and a copy of your personal ID within 24 hours after placing your order.

The Next Step:

Within the next 24 hours, one of our managers will contact you via email or phone and provide you with detailed information about the apartment reserved. We will also give you contact details of our local representative in the city of your stay.If you order Transportation Service, we will need information about your arrival (arrival time and flight number).If you do not want to use Transportation Service, we will need to know approximate time of your arrival to the apartment. Our representative will be waiting for you there to give the keys, provide necessary information and answer questions.

Arrival:

If you ordered Transportation Service our representative will meet you at the airport (railway or bus station) and take you to the apartment. If you did not order Transportation Service, you will need to get to the apartment by yourself. Our representative will be waiting for you there.

Additional Services:

Should you like to use additional services you did not reserve in advance, please address to our local representatives. They will help you make all necessary arrangements. There will be an additional charge for services provided.

Departure:

On the day of your departure you will be asked to fill in a Service Review Form and sign a Confirmation of services provided during your stay. Information:

An Invitation Letter is required for submission, as proof of purpose of your visit, to the relevant embassy in your country, along with your visa application.

Albania - Visa Requirements

No visa is required for citizens of the United States, member countries of the European Union, New Zealand and Australia and EFTA member countries. An entry visa is given upon arrival which is valid for three months, which can be extended. Citizens of other countries must obtain a visa at the nearest Albanian embassy before departing for the country. An entry tax must be paid upon entry to the country, by air, sea or land. The amount varies for different nationalities. The amount for North American and EU citizens is US$5. An exit tax is required at Rinas Airport, which is US$10.

Transfer

Feel exhausted from a long flight?

Visiting a country for the first time?

Our official representatives are ready to help you with your transfer to the apartment and/or a transfer back to the airport. A friendly and attentive welcome will make your first impression about a country all the more pleasant. Our representatives meet you with a sign, your name written across it so that you will not miss them, and pick you up at the apartment at a designated time.

Information:

The indicated transfer fee involves a charge for a transfer of one person with one-piece of luggage. To order our Transfer Service, we require your arrival and/or departure information (arrival and/or departure time and your flight number).If you are not willing to use our Transfer Service, we will need to know the approximate time of your arrival to the apartment. Our representative will be waiting for you at the apartment to give you the keys, provide necessary information and answer your questions. We can also provide the transfer service between different cities. Our representative in the city of your arrival can provide this service on your request.

Car Rentals

A car is very important in Albania, if you wish to make the most of property viewings from Tirana to Saranda, Rent in Albania can make all the bookings for you, to make sure your car is looking good, ready and available at the time you want it. If you wish to use this service during your trip please inform us in advance and we will gladly help you.

Interpreter

If you are on a business trip or planning a vacation in a foreign country, our certified interpreters are ready to help you during your visit. Polite and sympathetic assistants, experienced in all areas of communication, they will do their best to help you feel most comfortable in foreign language-speaking country. All interpreters are qualified professionals. In some of the cities on offer, our local representatives can arrange excursions for you to explore the city and find out about its history.

Information:

If you are willing to use this service, a deposit fee of 100 Euros is to be paid for five hours of translation services. At the end of your trip, the interpreter will complete a report stating the actual number of hours he/she has worked. If the total working time of the interpreter exceeds the five-hour period, you will be additionally charged by our company within 2-7 days.Our representative in each city is able to provide the services of an interpreter, upon your request, in case you had not reserved them in advance. Please feel free to request this service from our local representatives in this situation. They will take care of all the necessary arrangements. Please remember that in this case you will be additionally charged for the translation services provided. All charges for such additional services ordered post-factum will be done after your check-out. You do not need to pay for these services in cash during your stay in the apartment.
